ARSENAL TRANSFER NEWS: GUNNERS EYEING ON A £8M DEAL FOR HIGHLY RATED BRAZILIAN WONDER-KID

"Save something for the future". To ensure the smooth run and success of a football club, it's super essential to look fast forward towards the future. The top flights in Europe are always on the hunt for young talents. They want to make sure that the potential of the lads are maximised.

Arsenal are not behind on scouting youngsters. As per reports from Brazilian outlet UOL, Gunners are interested in the signature of Gabriel Martinelli. It looks like they are keen on bringing the future star to Emirates very soon.

SOURCE: Football.london

The talented youngster started his career at Corinthians before moving to Ituano in 2015. He has been in red hot form in the state championship, netting four goals and producing three.

Martinelli is comfortable to play in different attacking positions. Blessed with immense pace and skill, he can produce wonders in the winger role. Sooner or later, he will reach a breakthrough point in his career.

The youngster has the potential to become the "next big thing" from Brazilian football following the likes of Vinicius Junior, Gabriel Jesus, Neymar. All of them have made a move from Brazil to Europe at their teenage which resulted in a positive impact on their career.

Martinelli had trials at Barcelona and Manchester United on previous occasions. English clubs like Crystal Palace and Watford are also interested in getting services from the Brazilian forward. At the moment, Arsenal is in pole position for the move.

Even though he has offers from Brazilian clubs like Flamengo and Santos, it's unlikely that a deal is done between them. They don't have the financial power or support to challenge against European powerhouses.

January transfer window was an utterly disappointing one for the Gunners. Despite having injury concerns and lack of squad depth, Emery couldn't land any player on a permanent basis to Emirates. Gunners had a limited wage budget and their transfer activity was settled on the loan deal of Denis Suarez from Barcelona.

According to rules of Premier League, Martinelli cannot play for the London side until he becomes 18, which is in June. The youngster is close to obtaining an Italian passport and is likely to make a move away from Brazil in the summer.

It's not right to compare Premier League with the Brazilian League. The atmosphere is more intense, the level of play is high, quality of the entire system is also on another level in Premier League. There is no other league with such competition and hardness.

Life may become hard for youngsters at the initial stage. It's really important for any player to cope up with the new surroundings and situations in his new club. The key mantra for victory is to "never give up".

Martinelli has the talent with him. Emirates can be the perfect platform to nourish him further. He can be that perfect winger for the Gunners which fans were mourning for some time. Good luck for his future!

Arsenal will go head to head with Wolves fighting for the top four position in Premier League next. #COYG

ARSENAL TRANSFER NEWS: ROBERT PIRES WANTS THE GUNNERS TO SIGN THE UNSETTLED FRENCH YOUNGSTER TO REPLACE DEPARTING AARON RAMSEY

Finally, it is time for Aaron Ramsey to say goodbye to Emirates. After having 258 appearances for the London side, the Welsh Superstar is all set to join Juventus on summer.

Ramsey is one of the best box-to-box midfielders at the moment. Fate was never favourable for him. Ramsey and injuries were like friends. But every time he gets suffered from injury, he bounced back with more determination. He scored many crucial goals for the Gunners and the final one was against Tottenham on last Saturday.

Now the question is who will replace him? According to the report from Mirror.comArsenal Legend Robert Pires is hopeful to see French International Adrien Rabiot as the replacement for Ramsey.

"Arsenal have the advantage of Emery having already worked with him at PSG, which should hopefully sway Rabiot to join Arsenal.
"He would be worth a big fee on the transfer market so the fact he’s free makes it a no brainer.
"If Emery can secure Rabiot then I think he’ll be able to fill the hole that will be left by Ramsey's departure."
The 23-year-old central midfielder began his career at Creteil-Lusitanos in short-term. He signed his first professional contract for Paris Saint-Germain on 2 July 2012. He has a record of 24 goals in 227 appearances for the French side.

Rabiot is no longer the first choice for PSG. The French International is out of the contract within three months and is desperately waiting to leave the French Champions.

Rabiot had been linked with a move to Barcelona recently. But the Catalan Giants ends up in sealing De Jong from Ajax. Due to frustration, the youngster fired his own mother from the agent role.

In three months, Rabiot would be available for free in the transfer market. With a lot of fruitful years to come, signing the youngster for free is definitely a bonus for any team. Considering the departure of Aaron Ramsey, it is the right time for Emery to make a move.

Liverpool is also in the race for Rabiot. The Reds have a clear advantage over the Gunners on a financial basis. Arsenal is undergoing a tough time with transfers. Emery has admitted that they cannot sign any players on a permanent basis.

The good sign for the Gunners is the fact that Emery had already worked with Rabiot during his spell at France. His relationship with the midfielder would make a possible reunion at the Emirates.

Also, Rabiot will get more gameplay time at Arsenal than crowded Liverpool. Future of Ozil is still hanging on the air. Ramsey is on his way out. Rabiot can make an instant impact at the Emirates considering the current circumstances.

The final decision is up to the club and the player. Within three months, Rabiot has the opportunity to choose his future. Emery can bring the best out from him if he joins the Gunners. #COYG

ARSENAL TRANSFER NEWS: STAR STRIKER ALEXANDRE LACAZETTE COULD MAKE A MOVE AWAY FROM THE EMIRATES, SAYS CHARLES WATTS

Bad news coming for the Arsenal fans. According to a report from Charles Watts of Football.London, there is a possibility for the Gunners to sell Alexandre Lacazette this summer.

The 27-year-old Frenchman joined Arsenal from Lyon in 2017 for a fee of around £52 million. Since then, Laca had a consistent performance for the London side. He scored 24 goals and provided 6 assists in 57 appearances so far for the club.

Watt's report states:

‘As popular a player as Alexandre Lacazette is, the French striker could be moved on in the summer, depending on what offers may arrive.’

'Emery is not overly keen on pairing Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang together and the former has found himself either on the bench at times this season or being replaced during the second half.’

‘At 27, Lacazette’s transfer value is high and it’s far more likely that he would be the man sold, should Arsenal decide to cash in on one of their two star strikers.’

There are two major reasons for the sudden rumour. First one is the limited wage budget available to Unai Emery. Despite having a poor performance following the 22 match unbeaten streak, Arsenal failed to bring any player in the January transfer window on a permanent basis. They only signed Denis Suarez from Barcelona which was of course, a loan deal.

Emery himself admitted that the club doesn't have much budget for transfers during a press conference. So they are forced to offload key players as Laca joining the list with Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey.

The second one is Unai Emery and his tactics. The former PSG coach replaced Arsene Wenger with huge expectations on his shoulders. The Spaniard started well in his new club and it reflected in the results.

But his recent squad selection and tactics have raised some serious questions among fans especially the absence of Mesut Ozil on the pitch. Seriously, how can a club pay £350,000 per week for sitting at home playing Fortnite?

It's the same thing that happened to Lacazette. Emery seems to prioritize the Gabon International Aubameyang over Lacazette. The French striker has started 18 League matches while Auba has started 25 League matches. The difference is crystal clear.

Even if Emery allows Laca to start, he does not finish the full time whistle most of the times. He often being sacrificed as a substitute to Aaron Ramsey in the second half. Lack of game time is definitely frustrating for any player and it is not apt to bash upon Laca's decision if he decides to leave in summer.

In my opinion, as a player, I will choose Laca over Auba any day. Auba has an upper advantage in terms of goal ratio which makes him the ideal candidate for the striker position. But Lacazette brings something more than just goals when he is on the pitch. He is capable of holding the ball and creating spaces for wingers and midfielders.

Lacazette delivers goals in much needed times in spectacular manner(not just tap-ins). Also, Aubameyang gets more freedom when playing alongside with Lacazette. The French striker drag defenders to him thus creating chances for Auba.

Those who analyse football by stats alone may consider Auba as more valuable and better than Laca because he has that higher goal ratio. But Lacazette's hard work and commitment on the pitch can never be matched. After all, football is not about goals only. He has that quality in his goals while Auba has more quantity.

Lacazette is on his prime at the moment. He is consistent and versatile. Transferring him now seems to be illogical to me. I hope he stays and proves his doubters wrong. #COYG

HIGUAIN TO CHELSEA: CAN THE ARGENTINE BE THE SOLUTION FOR LACK OF GOALS IN CHELSEA?

Yesterday, Higuain made his debut for Chelsea against Sheffield in the FA Cup. The Blues won the match 3-0 as Willian netted twice and the wonder-kid Hudson-Odoi scored one. Higuain was the centre of attention for the match. Sarri gave the no.9 role for the Argentine in the starting lineup.

Even though he failed to score, the 31-year-old showed glimpses of his potential before being subbed off. Higuain attempted two or three through balls from Kovacic but failed to find the target. Giroud replaced him in the final minutes of the second half.

Higuain started his senior career at River Plate. Real Madrid found his talent and brought him to Bernabeu. The Argentine scored 107 goals in 190 appearances for the Los Blancos. Gradually, frustration started to hunt him due to lack of game time as Benzema settled well in the starting eleven ahead of Higuain.

Higuain made his way to Napoli on 2013 where he worked with the current Chelsea manager Sarri. The Argentine continued his terrific form in Napoli with 71 goals in 104 appearances. In the 2015-16 season, Higuain won the Capocannoniere award for the top goalscorer in Serie A with a total of 36 goals.

Obviously, his top-class performance attracted Juventus to make a move on the Argentine. Higuain joined with the Old Lady on the 2016-17 season. He enjoyed another successful chapter in his career with 40 goals in 73 appearances in Turin.

The shocking arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid to Juventus kicked Higuain out from Turin. Juventus sent him on a loan deal to A.C. Milan. Even though he started well in San Siro, he couldn't maintain his rhythm. He scored 6 goals in 15 appearances for them.

Sarri brought his old student to Stamford Bridge on a loan deal in this January. The Blues already have two strikers in the team; Morata and Giroud. Both of them seems to be not good enough for the job as the duo struggles to keep up their form. Sarri was even forced to play Hazard in the striker role despite the Belgian prefers a free role on the left wing.

Higuain is already a proven world class striker. His addition definitely gonna increase Chelsea's firepower. But it is important to integrate him into the Sarriball system where the striker is not likely to get many touches in the game.

Recent rumours suggest that Barcelona and Atletico Madrid both are interested in Morata. There is no doubt that Chelsea will allow the transfer of either Morata or Giroud. They cannot afford three strikers at the same time.

Hazard would be extremely relieved by hearing the news of Higuain to Chelsea. Recently, the Belgian played the striker role and failed miserably. He doesn't have the strength and power to play as the striker. The best example was the match against Arsenal. Hazard was completely out of the picture against the Gunners. Chelsea lost that match 2-0.

Higuain is capable of running behind the defenders and to make spaces for the wingers to exploit. Hazard can easily link up the Argentine and can score more goals in the winger role. The Belgian should maximize the advantage when Higuain drags the defenders with him inside the box.

We are yet to see the best from Higuain. It is not fair to judge him from his first game for the Blues. He will score goals.....many goals. Hopefully, his first goal comes on Thursday when Chelsea go head to head with Bournemouth on Premier League Matchday 24.

ARSENAL TRANSFER NEWS: WORDS OF RELIEF FOR THE GUNNERS FANS AS GUILLEM BALAGUE GIVES OPTIMISTIC COMMENTS

Finally some good news coming out for Arsenal supporters. According to Spanish football expert Guillem Balague, Emery will have enough money to spend in the summer transfer window for players.

Unai Emery

Unai Emery admitted that the club cannot afford any permanent deals at the moment during the press conference before the West Ham match. They are currently in pursuit of loan deals in January as Denis Suarez and James Rodriguez on their radar.

Fans went furious by hearing the news and hashtags with "kroenke out" spread like fire all over the internet. No-one can doubt their love towards the club because after their 22-match unbeaten streak, Arsenal's recent form is not up to the standards. The last one in the table was their away defeat against West Ham United.

Balague claimed that Emery wouldn't be able to spend money for permanent deals in January. But he will get his opportunity in the summer transfer window to strengthen the current underperforming squad.

“Arsenal spent a lot of money in the summer and the last winter market with [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang and spent a lot of money of three players in terms of wages, Aubameyang, [Mesut] Ozil and [Henrikh] Mkhitaryan,” he told the GB Transfer Podcast.
“So the position was clear for this one that they would have to try and fill the holes, not the centre-back hole unless a bargain appears in the market."

"In the summer, the good news for Arsenal fans is that there will be money."

"In terms of players linked to Arsenal or Arsenal players, Ramsey, we all think that he's made a decision and it is Juventus."
"His decision was between Juventus and another team, when all the teams have come to Ramsey and said 'I want a second chance to try and convince you' they said 'no, no, no it's already done."

Emery cannot expect the support from the Arsenal board compared to PSG board in terms of transfers. He is under pressure right now. Fans started to question his tactical decisions and players selection.

The mysterious Ozil-Emery saga also had been a headache for the supporters as Emery once again excluded the German from the squad against West Ham. So the highest paid player in your team can't even make up to the bench? As Ramsey is nearing an exit from Emirates, Arsenal cannot afford to lose Ozil too.

Mesut Ozil

Injuries also played a big part in recent performance of the Gunners. Holding, Welbeck and Mkhitaryan are all out with long term injuries. The defensive partnership of Koscielny and Mustafi caused some people to raise eyebrows.

Fans expected Arsenal board would make some serious changes in the January considering the error-prone defence and non-creative midfield. But they have to wait till summer.

Manchester United are closing down the gap between them and Arsenal. Arsenal are still ahead thanks to the goal difference. Red Devils are on terrific form with a six match winning streak under Ole. Emery must do something if he wants to maintain the position.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær

If you are having a sad life, just imagine being an Arsenal fan these days. Anyway, it's a sign of relief for the fans to not to lose their hope in the summer transfer window. Arsenal will face Manchester United on their next outing with eyes on the FA Cup Title.

ARSENAL TRANSFER NEWS: GUNNERS BATTLING WITH MANCHESTER UNITED FOR PORTO STAR YACINE BRAHIMI

Another day with another transfer rumour on the air. As usual, it is Arsenal linking up with a midfielder. According to reports from Mirror, the Gunners are weighing up moves for the Algerian Yacine Brahimi from Porto. The 28-year-old is going to terminate his contract with the Portuguese side and would be a free agent in this summer.

SOURCE: YACINE BRAHIMI FACEBOOK PAGE

Arsenal had already spoken with the player’s agents and looking for a pre-contract agreement. Premier League clubs like Manchester United and Everton are also running along with the Gunners to tie up the attacking midfielder. Considering the limited budget of Arsenal and lack of creative players in the squad makes the Gunners ideal for the signing.

Brahimi started his senior career in Rennes and later they sent him to Ligue 2 side Clermont on a loan deal. In 2010, he returned back to Rennes despite the strong interest from Arsenal and Real Madrid. He scored six goals in twenty-three appearances for the French side. On 2014, Porto announced his signing where he made a name for himself.

The Algerian is having a terrific season so far with Porto. He scored seven goals and assisted six in a total of 25 matches. His contribution behind the run of Porto in the Champions League is priceless as the Portuguese side finished top in the group stage. Brahimi has a total of 44 goals in 149 matches for Porto.

Emery can use Brahimi either as a midfielder or as a winger. The 28-year-old is blessed with splendid dribbling and can tear up defences with his pace. His through balls and passing are blistering for eyes. Brahimi also showed his class on scoring with four goals in last six matches. But still, Brahimi is not a clinical finisher and it is considered as one of his drawbacks. He is also good at utilizing foul kicks.

Even though he brings quality to the attack, his contribution to defence is very much less. The midfielder often fails to tackle the opponents and break up the counters. Emery might give him a free role considering his weakness in the defence.

Brahimi is much needed for the Gunners when compared to Manchester United. After a tremendous 22 match unbeaten streak, Emery faced a lot of setbacks. The last one in the list is their away defeat against West Ham United.

Injuries also played a big part in the recent form of Arsenal. Holding, Mkhitaryan and Welbeck are out of the squad on long term injuries. As Ramsey is nearing an exit from Emirates and Ozil’s future hanging in the air, Brahimi could be the saviour for the Gunners.

Ozil-Emery saga once again fueled up as Emery left the German out of the squad against West Ham. Fans went crazy after seeing the eleven as the German didn’t even make up the bench. Seriously it’s not the way to handle one of the best players in your squad. There is something really fishy happening in between Emery and Ozil. If Ozil is not in Emery’s plans anymore, then Brahimi would be apt for replacing the German in Emirates.

EMIRATES STADIUM

Brahimi can bring up the creativity in the midfield and can give the perfect passes to Auba-Laca duo. Xhaka and Guendouzi lack the vision to give key passes which split the opposition defences. Arsenal have many youngsters like Reiss Nelson and Bukayo Saka. But they still need many years for gaining experience and establishing themselves in the hardship of Premier League.

There are also rumours linking Denis Suarez of Barcelona with the Gunners. But Emery made it clear that the Arsenal board is currently facing a financial struggle and are not able to sign anyone permanently with transfer fee. So Brahimi could be the right man to head into Emirates in this transfer window.

ARSENAL TRANSFER NEWS: GUNNERS EYEING UPON COLOMBIAN PLAYMAKER WITH A £63M OFFER

Arsenal planning to bring more quality to their midfield as a £63 million offer is on the table for the 27-year-old Colombian International James Rodriguez. According to reports from foxsports, Arsenal are leading the line to get his signature while they face fierce competition from the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United.

SOURCE: Bayern München Is In My DNA FACEBOOK PAGE

The Colombian is on his second spell of a two-year loan deal at Bayern from Real Madrid. The Madrid star suffered from injuries and lack of game time so far this season. Considering his relationship with Niko Kovac, it is unlikely that the Bavarians sign him on a permanent basis. It is interesting to see whether James would go back to a struggling Madrid or make his way to the Premier League.

The turning point in his life was the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He scored 6 goals and 5 assists for his Country. No football fan can forget his wonder volleyed opening goal against Uruguay which won the FIFA Puskás Award. His splendid performance tempted Real Madrid to make another Galactico signing.

James often found his place at the bench under Zidane as he made Asensio and Isco regular starters in the eleven. Despite winning back-to-back Champion's League titles, he went to Bayern on a loan deal. After all, a player of his quality should be on the pitch and not warming up the bench.
James made an influential start for the Baverians on his first spell. He linked up perfectly in that number 10 role. Later injuries started to hunt him down. He found it hard to maintain his form and left out from the eleven oftentimes.

He scored 7 goals and produced 11 in 23 matches during his first spell in Bayern. In this season, he played only 8 matches and scored 3 goals so far. The difference is crystal clear and it is a matter of time for him to decide his next destination as Arsenal seems more likely.

Arsenal is in search of creativity for their team. As Aaron Ramsey nearing an exit at the end of the season and lack of stability for Ozil would tempt the Gunners to break their bank for the Colombian. But it is not clear whether the club can afford his signing, considering the huge salary of the current players especially the German Ozil.

James can make a formidable midfield with Xhaka and Torreira. He is intelligent and is capable of turning around the game with a touch. The Colombian can produce the perfect through balls and wide passes for the Laca-Auba duo to finish. Emery can use James as an attacking midfielder or as a right-winger.

No doubt that James is one of the best in his position. But the addition of the Colombian means the exit of Mesut Ozil from Emirates because of the similarity in their playing and to maintain financial stability. There are also rumours linking Denis Suarez of Barcelona to Arsenal. So most probably it would be Ramsey-Ozil duo out and Denis-James duo in.

As a fan, I would be happy to see this deal happen. James has the calibre to fill Ozil's void and his absence in important matches due to "mysterious injuries". Recently Emery dropped Ozil from the starting eleven and controversy regarding the player and the coach is on air. If Emery gets support from the board for the transfer, we could see James in Emirates soon. #COYG

ARSENAL TRANSFER NEWS: GUNNERS WANTS DENIS SUAREZ IN JANUARY

Emery is ready to make his first January signing as he wants the 24-year-old Barcelona central midfielder Denis Suarez as a £20 million offer is on the table. According to reports from Skysports, Emery is eagerly waiting to reunite with the Spaniard, having worked with him at Sevilla during 2014-15 season.

The Spanish youngster started his teenage career at the academy of Manchester City. In 2012, he was awarded Manchester City's Young Player of the Year. The Barcelona board found his talent and signed him on 2013. Later he was loaned to Sevilla for two seasons where he worked under Unai Emery.

He returned to Camp Nou as it is his dream to be in the starting lineup and to play alongside with the likes of Messi, Iniesta etc. Definitely it was tough for him to show his talent in such a star-studded team. Often injuries also drag him back. The youngster scored 8 goals in his 30 appearances for the club.

Recent Barcelona signings including Arthur and Vidal ensured that Denis Suarez stays on the bench. Valverde, coach of Barcelona wasn't much interested in the Spaniard and the fans couldn't even find his name on the squad list. His game time was reduced to Spanish Cup and few La Liga matches.

There are strong rumours linking Aaron Ramsey with PSG and Juventus. And considering Ozil's unstable performance and injuries, it is an ideal signing for the Gunners. Emery can use Suarez as a central midfielder or as a left winger. He can make a formidable midfield with Xhaka and Torreira.

Denis Suarez is considered as a huge potential by fans and football pundits. He is intelligent and can control the game as well. He is one of the most underrated players just because he currently plays in one of the best clubs in the world. To find a player with his commitment and desire is hard especially in a money-minded world.

The rumour is so strong and we could see Denis in Arsenal's colours very soon. As a fan, I really wants to see this deal to happen very soon. It is good for both the player and the club. I am sure that even Barcelona fans would be happy to see this transfer happen as he is a fan-favourite. #COYG

ARSENAL TRANSFER NEWS: FRENCH CHAMPIONS PSG WANTS UNSETTLED AARON RAMSEY

The 28 years old Welsh International, Aaron Ramsey is looking for a new club in the summer as his contract negotiation for a higher wage with the Gunners failed. According to reports from Daily Canon , PSG is on the top of the table to get the signature of Ramsey.

Ramsey is out of contract at the end of the season and Arsenal are willing to accept an offer in between €10-20m. PSG wants to maximize the advantage and making regular contact with Aaron Ramsey’s agent for a potential move to Parc des Princes.

Ramsey likes to play as a box-to-box midfielder. He has scored some wonderful goals for the Gunners. His link-up play and clinical finishing is worth to watch. Under Emery, Ramsey is not getting enough game time and always used as a substitute. The current situation of Ramsey strengthens the possibility of an exit from the club.

Source: Twitter

The addition of Torreira and Guendouzi along with Özil and Xhaka ensured Ramsey stays on the bench for the Gunners. Emery seems to be impressed in the young lad Guendouzi and he is a regular starter recently. Lack of game time with low wage is definitely a frustration for any player.

It is clear that PSG wants to bring Champions League Title to France. The addition of Ramsey to a quality midfield with the likes of Marco Veratti, Julian Draxler, Adrien Rabiot would definitely make them the title contenders. With Neymar and Di María in wings, Ramsey can easily find spaces in the opposition box.

There are rumors that Rabiot is on his way to Barcelona and if that’s the case, Ramsey can be used to fill his void. PSG are only offering him a 18 month deal due to the fact that his career was full of injuries and they are not evaluating him as a long term replacement.

Ramsey is a highly talented player who can play in any team with his quality. If it was not for injuries, his career stats could have been much better. He suffered from a horrible fatal injury which nearly ended his career against Stoke City. He came back strongly as a warrior for the Gunners.

It is highly unlikely that Ramsey would continue in the North London at the moment. Arsenal made it clear that they are not willing to offer a higher salary for the player. It is up to the player himself to decide his next club as PSG one of his destinations. All we can do is wait and see...
